A project to enhance the different life and vocational skills of girls and women to qualify for the labor market in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef, in cooperation with UN Women

Qodra in cooperation with UN Women is implementing a project that aims to enhance the vocational and employability skills of a total of 300 girls and women in the legal working age and identify employment opportunities in the target governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, and Beni Suef.
 
On Thursday, June 20, 2023, a contract was signed to implement the trainings between the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and Qodra Company for Development and Technological Solutions for Education. This project comes within the framework of UN Women and the International Labor Organization (ILO) program to promote productive employment and decent work for women in Egypt, and the UN Women program “Economic Empowerment of Women in Egypt” which is being implemented with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The project aims to train and develop the skills of 300 girls and women to enhance their employability in the private sector in the governorates of Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef on various professional vocations;
