Improving Employment Opportunities for Youth project
In cooperation with the Egyptian Society for Human and Environmental Development and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSME), 90 young men and women (60 women and 30 men) were training on leather handicrafts in Al-Qalyoubeya governorate from August to November 2021. During that time, 6 training courses took place with each course lasting for 15 days for a total of 360 hours. The training has also had a visibility through media coverage.
At the end of the training, Qodra distributed to the distinguished trainees, tools and materials that are necessary to help them start off their career and has organized a graduation event for the trainees in the presence of representatives of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, the European Union, the deputy of Al-Qalyoubeya governorate, the president and members of the association and Dr. Nashwa Ayoub, Qodra’s CEO.
